Zoning Your Home Using Heat Pumps

I’m here today to talk to you about zoning, specifically zoning your heating and air conditioning high-efficiency heat pump systems. Why would somebody want zoning? And zoning can save you money. When you turn on the water at your kitchen sink, do you want the water running at every faucet throughout the house? These high efficiency heat pumps are able to find enough heat even on the coldest days or enough cooling even on the hottest days, and take that heat or that cooling and circulates it into the home to heat and cool the rest of your house.

Some rooms, you may want it to heat with these conventional wall mount units. Those white pipes are typically on the outside of your home, not on the inside, and they’re up on the wall. Not every customer likes to see them. So, we have this other solution here, a little lower, a floor mount unit that does the same as the wall mount, just mounted lower on the wall.

Today, we can take this technology and we can install these ceiling mount units, either we have some for drop ceilings and some to go in between the joist and the attic, and they operate by taking the air in the room, heating it or cooling it and passing it down, so it’s not being circulated through your entire house and unconditional spaces. These new high efficiency heating systems allow you to pick and choose exactly how you want to comfort, how you want to warm, and how you want to cool your home.
