Residential Sewer Clearing Promotions

John Moroney talks about Jones Service’s residential sewer clearing promotions. They have one price for main line stoppages and another for in-home issues.

At Jones Services, we do a lot of sewer work, residential sewer work, clearing constrictions in customer’s lines, and also repairing or replacing sewer lines when needed. I want to just tell you about a couple of promotions that we have. We have a 93 or free and we have 199 or free. And what’s the difference?

$93 or Free for Main Line Stoppage

Well, the 93 or free is for your main line stoppage. That’s when everything in the home is backing out, the problem is outside the home, and we can come and put a mechanical snake inside with an outdoor access point, and quickly poke a hole in it, and get it open again and get the water flowing.

$199 or Free for In-Home Blockages

In the home, we’re dealing with smaller ports of toilets and sinks and such, and so we use a smaller mechanical tool to get access into those areas, and we’ll clear those ones for $199. Now, if we have to pull toilets, or we have to take things apart in order to get it, we’ll let you know upfront, and if you’re not happy with that, then no harm, no foul, we will collect nothing and we’ll leave.

Camera Diagnosis

These promotions are not a scam to get in the door, they’re to provide you with the level of service that matches that price point. With the outdoor recess and the mainline stoppage, we included with that a camera inspection, because there’s no reason something should clog outside. If something like a toy, or a hairbrush or something gets in the line, it will clog before it gets to the main line, because the pipes in the house are much smaller than the pipes outside.

So when there is a mainline stoppage, we put a camera in there because the integrity of your sewer line may be compromised, and I know you won’t be happy with us if we clear the line for 93 today, and then it backs up tomorrow. So we do put the camera in to get you a complete diagnostic of your sewer line and let you know what we can do to help prevent that from happening again.
