Three recipients were named to receive a sponsorship from Jones Services to attend and represent Orange-Ulster BOCES at the New York State Fairgrounds in Syracuse, NY April 26-28.

Jones Services is proud to sponsor students who are honing their skills in our industry, competing this year in different categories including HVAC, Hydronics, and Plumbing. SkillsUSA activities develop positive attitudes, build self-esteem, and empower students to excel while developing professional skills.

want.
The three recipients are Derryal French, Mike Jaman, and Tom Fasano.
Tom Fasano is the 2017 Orange Ulster High School representative in the USASkills competition for plumbing. Tom lives in Campbell Hall and goes to Washingtonville High School. Tom describes himself as a hardworking people person.
Mike Jaman is the 2017 Orange Ulster High School representative in the USASkills competition for hydronic. Mike lives in Marlboro and attends Marlboro High School. Mike’s strengths are wiring, measuring and figuring out problems.
Derryal French is the 2017 Orange Ulster High School representative in the USASkills competition for HVAC. Derryal lives in Sparrowbush and goes to Port Jervis High School. Derryal’s
strengths are his skills with tools and his communications. Derryal also volunteers at SADD, Students Against Destructive Decisions that support mission trips to Haiti, Kenya, Guadalajara and Uganda.
Also pictured is Greg Kula, a current Jones Services HVAC technician. Greg represented Orange Ulster BOCES at the NY SkillsUSA competition in 2012 and placed 14th in the entire state. He is a valuable asset to our team and is a testament to how this program helps to students employers want.
Jones Services is even more enthusiastic to sponsor this program as one of our own HVAC technicians and plumbers, Greg Kula, represented O-U BOCES at the SkillsUSA competition in 2012 and placed 14th in the state.
