We contacted Jones Services to clear a clogged drain in our kitchen. What should’ve been a simple job for a professional who has the correct tools turned into more of a headache than when we started. The service technician arrived unprepared and needed to borrow our tools. He originally quoted us an insane amount just to remove the garbage disposal, which wasn’t necessary at all. It took over three hours for him to locate and clear the clog, and then still charged a ridiculous amount for something simple. We never received an invoice, so I wouldn’t be surprised if fraudulent charges were added on top of the service.
To make matters worse, the technician severely damaged our cabinet in our brand new kitchen. The edge of the cabinet and the hardwood floors are scraped up from the tools, and the entire bottom of the cabinet has water damage. When it was pointed out to him he simply stated “Yeah.” No apology, nothing. We contacted management about the damage and questioned why dropcloths were not used, and they said it must’ve slipped his mind. Now we are left with a mess, a brand new kitchen that looks like crap that will cost thousands more to fix properly, and we were charged a ridiculous fee with no explaination for this “service.”
