About the Run
HERoes in Deed is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization inspired by the memory of our HERo, Army Lieutenant Colonel Jaimie E. Leonard, who was killed in Aghanistan on June 8, 2013. Jaimie’s drive to make the world a better place is the force behind our mission. Our current initiatives include hosting an annual HERo Run in Warwick on Memorial Day weekend, and offering scholarships to deserving Warwick High School students. We are in the process of learning more about the needs of the community and local veterans and servicemembers to develop programs that will inspire and educate the community to recognize and serve with and for those who serve.
